This might actually be related to you enabling the CentOS updates repo. See
this bug:

    http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=4978

My ugly hack to get around it was to disable the updates repo in the
Cobbler CentOS profile, and in the post section of the ks, I add the centos
update repo and trigger a yum upgrade. Ugly, but it works.
