I've had some weirdness wrt nic device name changes on physical computers - the situation seems to be different for virtual hosts (which is not good imo as one of my key usecases is to trial a new build with a vm before building on a physical machine from scratch).
I could find no combination of --kopts and --kopts-post that fixed the issue and I kept getting failed installs. (--kopts-posts didn't seem to add in the biosdevname kernel parameter) In the end I had to add the system with a device name of eth0 and then add p1p1 with the same mac address. The installed o/s calls the nic p1p1. On 17 Aug 2012, at 14:21, Bai Shen wrote: > Has anyone modified the network snippet to work with biosdevname?
