My understanding was that the first drive would be sda, the second sdb, etc. What would cause them to skip sda but only in cobbler?
Also, how do device labels work? The documentation that I found indicates that I can link a specific drive to a specific partition, but what if I don't know which drive to use in the first place? And I'm not sure how the UUIDs work. Sorry for all the questions. Most of my linux experience is just using simple desktops.
