I had this sorts-kinda-working a while back. I will see if I can exhume my notes.
The problem is that the way cobbler operates, you need to get a way to tell it to NOT reformat the USB thumb and try to make it part of the system you are installing. Again, I was tinkering with this and got sidetracked.
