Hi Yaniv, Copy your existing kickstart file in cobbler shared kickstart directory and attach it with your distro profile or the system(s) with --kickstart option in commandline or you can also use the Cobbler Web GUI.
Your kickstart file will be treated as a kickstart template, to know more about kickstart templating read here: http://www.cobblerd.org/manuals/2.6.0/3/5_-_Kickstart_Templating.html I'll also recommend you to read the quickstart document: http://www.cobblerd.org/manuals/quickstart/ Regards Santosh Kumar Gupta On Mon, Jun 23, 2014 at 2:30 PM, Yaniv Telem <[email protected]> wrote: > Thanks Santosh Kumar Gupta > > > > Do you have any instruction how I should use Cobbler and existing > kickstart together? > > > > > > *From:* [email protected] [mailto: > [email protected]] *On Behalf Of *Santosh Kumar Gupta > *Sent:* Monday, June 23, 2014 11:57 AM > *To:* cobbler mailing list > *Subject:* Re: [cobbler] Cobbler installation > > > > Dear Yaniv, > > If you have your existing kickstarts you can use it with any systems or > profiles. > > Regards > > Santosh Kumar Gupta > > > > On Mon, Jun 23, 2014 at 2:17 PM, Yaniv Telem <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > > > Hello all > > > > I would like to use Cobbler as my primary installation server. > > My question is : do I need to setup everything from scrath or I can > connect to my existing kickstart ? > > > > > _______________________________________________ > cobbler mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.fedorahosted.org/mailman/listinfo/cobbler > > > > _______________________________________________ > cobbler mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.fedorahosted.org/mailman/listinfo/cobbler > >
