Hello,

I have always struggled with it. Somehow, it hasn’t worked for me so far.

[root@cobbler ~]# rpm -qa | grep cobbler
cobbler-2.6.11-1.el6.x86_64

For example, I gave it another attempt today and this is the last logs I am
seeing. On the system being provisioned, I did see GRUB prompt and then this
message:

Trying to allocate 1039 pages for VMLINUZ
[Linux-EFI, setup=0x108d, size-0x40e1b0]
    [Initrd, addr=0x7363c00, size-0x26a376f]

I have attempting fixing it above with this from another article and didn’t
help

cobbler profile edit --name=RHEL6-x86_64
--boot-files="/var/lib/tftpboot/grub/splash.xpm.gz=
/var/www/cobbler/ks_mirror/RHEL6-x86_64/EFI/BOOT/splash.xpm.gz
--kopts="xdriver=vesa nomodeset"

The only thing I can explain is why the file name cobbler is trying to load is
different from MAC address. There is 01: in front of mac address.

MAC address:

Yes indeed it's about time :) ... there's only one thing i really want sorted
out... Debian & Ubuntu packaging.
I dont know why, but packaging debs broke with the 2.8.0 release. Hope to take
a look at it today.
Cheers!
