Dear Cobirders, It appears that the new (or the other if they are still at Valmont in the evenings) large Gull gathering area in the evenings is the northwestern corner of Boulder Reservoir. I was there this evening (2/8) and saw well over 1000 Gulls with many more streaming in just before 5:00PM. One bad thing about this roosting location is that the setting sun interferes with the viewing just before it goes behind the topography. I hope folks can get out and scope this group over the coming week; I bet it will yield some interesting birds.
