While finishing up administering my 4th session out of 9 of the 7th grade CSAP
at 11:30 I glanced out my window on the corner of Ninth and Main and saw a
raptor fly by. All I saw was a flash of white and it was larger than the
Cooper's Hawk that hangs out in the neighborhood. Watching the bird through
the trees west of Coffman I couldn't quite get a grasp of what it was. It
headed north before circling back around south down Main St. that I was able to
identify it as an Osprey.
