Yesterday while riding our bikes on the Poudre Bike Trail just west of
Taft road at a quarry Michelle and I saw about 4 male and 3 female
Hooded Mergansers. Also present were some Common Goldeneye, Scaup,
species unkown, Pied-billed Grebe. There was also a flock of American
Tree Sparrows and a singing Song Sparrow.

Also of note last weekend I heard and saw 3 Bushtits at an open space
just north of Dixon.
