Just before noon a Blue Jay flew into the spruce trees at the Visitor Center at Monte Vista NWR. They occasionally are seen at towns like Alamosa and Monte Vista, but not very often. This one in a rural area came as a real surprise. Virginia Simmons, Del Norte
