Here are some April trips from the Boulder Bird Club:
First Sunday Birding at 9 AM at Walden Ponds Wildlife Habitat, April 5th, 2009
This sunday come to Walden Ponds for three hours of birding the
ponds, woods and creeksides for shorebirds, ducks and some new spring
arrivals. It will be a good warmup for those who are a little rusty
from the winter to remember the songs and relearn the field marks.
Bring adequate shoes and a coat for changing weather, binocs or scope,
water and a snack. Hosted by Jim Fischer(303 940 3677) or at
[email protected] Walden Ponds is a mostly accessible area and
all are welcome.

Dowdy Draw Joint DFO-BBC early spring migrants walk
Meet up at 8AM at the Dowdy Draw Trailhead off of highway 128 to
Eldorado canyon for a moderate hike up the newly remodeled Dowdy Draw.
Led by Christian Nunes, a Boulder Wildlife Technician and expert
birder. Bring the usual protective clothing, water, snack and Binocs.
This is Christian's territory and he knows it pretty well and can find

And in early May the First Birding Sunday( May 3rd, 2009) at Walden
Ponds will be led by Peter Plage and will begin at 8AM (instead of
