Boulder County:
--A MEW GULL was reported by Szeliga at Cottonwood Marsh on March 29.  The
MEW GULL was seen again on April 4 by the Szeliga.

Costilla County:
--A Gray-crowned (Hepburn's) Rosy-Finch was reported by Beatty about 7.5
miles south of Fort Garland on Dante Road on April 4.  Dante Road is east
and
parallel to CO 159.

Delta County:
--Two Black Phoebes were reported by McConnell in Escalante Canyon on April
3. One was upstream from Escalante Rim Road at the suspended irrigation pipe
and the other was downstream from the road at the first concrete water
diversion dam.

Fremont County:
--An Eastern Phoebe and GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW were reported by DeFonso at
Tunnel Drive in Canon City on March 31.  The Eastern Phoebe was seen again
on April 5 by Schaum.

Gunnison County:
--Gray-crowned Rosy-Finches contue to visit the feeder of Linda Powers in
Crested Butte at least through April 5.  The address is 324 Whiterock.  You
can view the feeders from your vehicle.  The flock sits in the Cottonwood
Trees which surround the house.

Larimer County:
--A White-winged Dove was reported by Kogler at the end of McKenzie Drive in
Loveland on April 1.

Logan County:
--3+ Red-bellied Woodpeckers and 2 Northern Cardinals were reported by
Leatherman at Tamarack Ranch east SWA on March 31.

Logan/Sedgwick Counties:
--1 male Barrow's Goldeneye and 1 1st-cycle Glaucous Gull were reported by
Leatherman at Jumbo on March 31.

Mesa County:
--90+ Common Loons were reported by Cooper at Highline Lake State Park on
April 4.  Common Loons do not normally make the RBA but over 90 loons most
of which were in breeding plummage is impressive.

Ouray County:
--McConnell reported a large flock of Rosy-Finches near Lake Lenore in
in the Panoramic Heights subdivision of Ouray on April 3.  There was a Black
and Gray-crowned in the flock. Zerbi reported Rosy-Finches near Lake Lenore
and Hwy 550 including 4 Gray-crowned and 1 Black on April 4.  Directions to
the area:  Drive south on Hwy 550 from Montrose and Ridgway.  Turn left
(east) on CR 14.  It is a sharp left and uphill.  The turn is right after
the "Welcome to Ouray" sign. At the top of the first hill, turn left on
Sunshine Lane.  The Rosy-Finches should be visible from here.  Thanks to
Kent Nelson for directions.

San Juan County:
--1 Gray-crowned and 2 Black Rosy-Finches were reported by McConnell in
Silverton on April 4. They were seen behind a shop call The Sun House in the
1000 block of Blair Street.

Weld County:
--3 Mute Swans were reported by Lefko on the 35 Ave gravel ponds in Greeley
on March 28.  Sanders reported one swan at the gravel ponds on April 3.

The DFO field trip for Saturday, April 11 will be to Aurora's Ponderosa Pine
Preserve led by Mary Ann Bonnell (303-739-2428).  Must register for meeting
time and place.  Area offers mountain birding in a prairie setting.

Sunday, April 12  EASTER -- no field trip scheduled.
