Hi COBirders, I stopped by Big Johnson Resv this morning for a look. Overcast and calm with dull light, and most of the waterfowl were against the far shore (per usual). There were numerous waterfowl today.
Highlights: 2 breeding plumage Com Loon 100+ Com Merganser 1000+ Ruddy Duck 1000+ Am Coot 500+ N Shoveler 100+ Western Grebe 100+ Lesser Scaup several each: Horned Grebe, Bufflehead, Com Goldeneye, Red-breasted Merganser, California Gill Also, at Fountain Creek Park, highlight - an Audubon's (YR) Warbler - BRIGHT, breeding plumage, male. FOY for me.
