Birding in Phillips County was quiet today, with the best finds of the trip a pair of Cooper's Hawks building a nest in the Holyoke City Park and a variety of waterfowl, with highlights being a Ross's Goose and a dozen Blue-winged Teal. Not much else, just some first of spring Brown-headed Cowbirds, a Loggerhead Shrike, but no migrant sparrows, swallows, shorebirds so far. Joe Roller, Denver **************Why pay full price?
