A broad-tailed hummer was seen in Coal Creek Canyon yesterday afternoon:

This arrival is about right compared with the last 10 years I've been
keeping track. I see a scout normally the 14th or 15th of April.
Given the current/coming weather I suspect this one might be moving
out of the area quickly (or wishing it had.)
