The day, today, was dark and gloomy with a fine drizzle rain falling, an ideal 
day for birding.
First Boyd Lake State Park:
Bald Eagles  2
Kestrel  hovering over head looking for food.
Killdeer  2
Shovelers  5
Flickers   3
Pelicans  14
Then to the small pond at the north end of Horshshoe Lake:
Wood Ducks -  two males and 1 female
Lesser Scaup  11
Gadwall   2
Mallards - many
Avocets  14
Killdeer  2
Golden eagle over south Loveland, a Turkey Vulture over our residence and 
Red-winged Blackbirds, common Grackles, and Robins at all locations.
