Hi

A female Black-chinned Hummingbird briefly visited my feeder (Pinyon - Juniper
- Blue Grama Grass habitat) this afternoon (4/20/09). My previous early date
is 19 April for a bird that was apparently just moving through. Black-chinned
Hummers that stick around here usually arrive in the last week in April.

Mountain Bluebirds and Say's Phoebes are nest building.
