Today was a big day for Cooper's and Sharp-shinned Hawk migration! 33
accipiters flew past Dinosaur Ridge. In the afternoon when the wind became
quite strong the accipiters would pop up at the south point of the ridge and be
past almost too soon to focus binoculars on them.

Two Peregrine Falcons passed, one in the morning and one in the evening. There
was also one Golden Eagle, one juvenile Bald Eagle and one Osprey. Only 3
Red-tailed Hawks passed with apparent intent to migrate.

A local Harlan's Hawk visited twice while hunting.

Also interesting, there were 2 Mountain Lion tracks in the snow right next to
where I stood all day watching for hawks. At least 60 elk dozed and grazed on
the mountain to the west of the hawkwatch site.
