Tom Halverstadt called to report several good species over at the Walker Pit in Franktown. A Common Loon was singing its classic song, making Tom think he was in Minnesota. Also found were Wilson's Phalarope, Western Grebe, American Avocet, and many waterfowl species. An Osprey also came in while he was there, catching a bass out of the pond, and flying right over his truck!
