Hi Cobirders, Sorry for late post. Monday April 27 after seeing the
foot doctor stopped at noon
at Prospect Pond Wheat Ridge Green Belt. Over a 100 Violet-green
Swallows were flying over
and about the pond. A flock of colorful male Audubon Yellow-rump
Warblers were in the trees
and shrubs there. An Osprey landed atop a tall light standard in the
SE corner.Stayed long
enough so a beginning birder Carol was able to see it before it flew
away.
At Grampas Park, small park off 44th just west of RR crossing were
two male Western
Bluebirds.
Good birding before lunch.
