This morning at about 6:30 at Cherry Creek in the newer wetland area, we saw a
peregrine falcon, 2 semipalmated plovers (along with about 8 killdeer), six
long billed dowitchers, a western sandpiper, 4 least sandpipers, 5 lesser
yellowlegs, a Wilson's phalarope, and 2 savannah sparrows, along with the usual
avocets, dabblers, etc. The ibis were in the field across the way, but we
didn't have time or proximity to scan them.
