Last summer, at the end of June, a pair of juncos nested in a hanging
begonia planter on my front porch - which is covered. They successfully
fledged 3 young from 3 eggs. Nice location for them, about 5' off the
ground, in the cover of the plant, under the cover of the overhang.

We don't usually put our hanging plants out at 8500' until June. Well, it
appears the juncos are waiting this year, as they found last year's Xmas
wreath against the front porch wall even more covered. And they don't have
to deal with my wife watering their nest every day! The nest appears to be
more than 50% complete. About 4' off the ground/porch level.
