I took an evening walk in Willow Springs Open Space (WSOS) and heard my FOS Common Poorwill about 8:25 P.M. There were a number of poorwills calling after I heard the first one. Last year (5-06-08) was my FOS.
WSOS is in the foothills approximately 4 miles south of Red Rocks Park near Morrison.
