Cobirders,

Sandwiched around my job, I found time to visit three Bent County
migrant traps on 5/8.

At Green Heron Slough, I had a White-eyed Vireo with a Cassin's Vireo.

Van's Grove hosted a male Summer Tanager.

The Hasty Campground was alive with birds today. I found a male
Black-throated Blue Warbler around noon. It sang persistently for a few
minutes, then disappeared in the wind. In the late afternoon, I found an
Ovenbird. I was unable to relocate a Blackpoll Warbler found by a party
of Denver birders earlier in the day.

I would expect a lot of migrants in this part of the state this weekend.
