Sorry for the late post, got in late last night and crashed.

Overall the migrants were thin (e g. Van's Grove, where Brandon is
chasing a potential Acadian Flycatcher this morning, was silent
yesterday - only a single Swainson's Thrush in there). Here are
highlights:

Two Buttes (Baca County)
- Great Crested Flycatcher - by far best bird in there, in tress just below dam
- Swainson's Thrush (2)
- N. Waterthrush (2)

Lamar Community College - very quiet
- Black and White Warbler (m)
- Mac Warbler
- N. Waterthrush (2)
- Chimney Swifts are back, as are the Mississippi Kites (I think these
were reported earlier this month by someone)

Fairmont Cemetary (Lamar)
- Nashville W - high up with some Orange-crowneds

Thurston Res - lots of waterfowl, nothing unusual
- Bonaparte's Gull (2)

Tempel's Grove (best migrants of the day - all seen on the east side
of the road. Birds were active despite very strong winds.)
- HOODED WARBLER (f) - right off of road
- Ovenbird
- WORM-EATING WARBLER - way down the dyke - past the log piles and the
last pile of old farm equipment - it was giving its buzzy "dzit" call
note, very actively feeding. It first came up off of the face of the
southern dyke wall. Same bird as found on May 1??
- Blue Grosbeak
- Plumbious Vireo
- Rose-breasted Grosbeak
- Swainson's Thrush (2)

Cheraw Res (most shorebirds of any reservoir I stopped at)
- Black-necked Stilt (26)
- Baird's Sand (1)
- Least Sand
- Wilson's Phal
- Dowitcher species - very far off

Lake Holbook
- Long-billed Curlew (3)
- Snowy Egret (3)
- Osprey

Lake Henry
- Forster's Tern (13 - only terns I saw all day)
- Snowy Egret (3)

On the interesting side, I saw few migratory sparrows - no Chipping,
only one Clay-colored, for e.g. - very different dynamic from the
front range.

Have a Good One!
