Hi COBirders,

Warm and slow. 22 new birds banded. Only real turnover noticed was
in White-crowned Sparrows. Yesterday we banded Gambel's race - today
they were all Mountain race. Today was also another "big bird day".
Only one warbler banded (MacGillivray's, m), and only one thrush
(Swainson's), but N Mockingbird, Brown Thrasher, Black-headed Grosbeak
(SY, m), ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK (probably same SY male seen
yesterday), and Bullock's Oriole (ASY, m). Also two Plumbeous Vireos
banded.

Also seen around the banding station - female Rose-breasted Grosbeak,
feamle Black-headed Grosbeak, W Tanager (m, f), TENNESSEE WARBLER (m,
singing), a few Wilson's Warblers, Orange-crowned warblers, Audubon's
(Y-R) Warblers, W Kingbirds, and Plumbeous and Warbling Vireos.

Pretty quiet. Not many sparrows seen along the road either.
