North of Greeley along Hwy 392 at WCR 35

Most birds were more secretive except for the Ruby-crowned Kinglet that took
his bath about 10 feet from me and flashed his red crown all the time. Then he
sang throughout the yard for a few hours.
A male and female Bullock's Oriole spent most of the day into dusk eating from
the cotoneaster bushes. Insects I assume. Did not see them eat the berries.
Orange-crowned Warblers
Yellow-rumped Warblers Beautiful male Audubons and Myrtles.
Yellow Warblers bathing.
Swainson's Thrush

Over the course of the last 5 or 6 days I have had 9 species of Sparrows if you
count the Spotted Towhees and Green-tailed Towhees.
White-crowned
White-throated
Clay-colored
Chipping
House
Lincoln
Lark
They all love the dandelion heads that have gone to seed.

What a spring to remember.
