Other highlights this morning at Fountain Creek Regional Park (El Paso County),
besides for the Yellow-throated Vireo, which was certainly the best thing we
saw there (thanks to Saraiya for showing that great bird to us!!), Kara
Lewantowicz, Ryan Empson, and I also found three singing Northern Waterthrush,
a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak, a singing Least Flycatcher, and a Green Heron as
well.  There seemed to be a lot of Plumbeous and Warbling Vireos around.  There
were not a lot of warbler species really, lots Yellows, few MacGillivray's,
Wilson's, Common Yellowthroats, and Yellow-breasted Chats.  Western Wood-Pewees
were around, though only 2 or 3 probably.

Good birding,

There was a Yellow-throated Vireo at Fountain Creek Nature Center
today around 10 AM. Technically, it's at the southern most edge of
Area 4. Take the trail south from the nature center, cross the first
bridge and keep walking south. Further along will be a parking lot.
The vireo is in the willows around that area.
