I photographed a male Black-throated Blue Warbler this morning after Rich
Miller found the bird along the Canon City Riverwalk bluff trail. They are
posted on my blog at http://BirdsAndNature.blogspot.com . Rich also found
both a male Hooded Warbler nearby but I didn't any pics. Both warblers were
singing. These are likely the same birds Jan Swarm saw later today. Rich
also later found a female Hooded Warbler further west along the bluff trail.

I have found on my friend's property near Canon City an Eastern Phoebe
sitting on a nest with a Black Phoebe attending her. The female Eastern
Phoebe may herself be a hybrid but I haven't been able to get good enough
views yet.
