This morning Kurt Huffstater, his son Kyle and myself had great day of birding in Louviers(Douglas) with close to 80 species seen.Highlights were a Green Heron in a small pool in the deep Cottonwoods, seen for only the second time in 16 years. The other good bird today was a very tame Northern Cardinal which posed for many great shots. This is my third Cardinal in the 16 years living in this wonderful little town.I,ve posted a couple shots on my flickr site. www,flickr.com/photos/thavs1/ I'm sure Kurt and Kyle will post many much better ones also.
