Hi COBirders,

Banding Wednesday (well, kind of). Real Hot, Real Slow, Real Quiet.
Slowest day of the season. Ten birds banded, by Brian Gibbons (Rocky
Mountain Bird Observatory). Seen in the area around the banding
station: Com Nighthawk, Blue Grosbeak, Green-tailed Towhee,
MacGillivray's Warbler, W Kingbird, and not much more. Closed early
for lack of action. Really hoping that the weather change forecasted,
does indeed happen!

Banding Highlights Wednesday:
Cordilleran Flycatcher (2)
Bullock's Oriole (f)
Gray Catbird

and some local birds.

Seen around the HQ area and Rose's Pond:
Com Nighthawk, Orchard Oriole (m) W Tanager (f), Willow Flycatcher,
MacGillivray's Warbler (f), Lincoln's Sparrow (several), Gray Catbird,
Killdeer, Spotted Sandpiper, W Kingbird, E Kingbird. Like I said,
real slow.
