Sunday, bobolinks were out in force in the Spurgeon Res. area. There were at least 4 flying about in the field on Nimbus Rd north of the reservoir. The fields, both east and west, along the extension of 35th St. north of Nebo Rd were also occupied--7 or more birds there. While the birds tend to stay back a bit from the roads, both locations offer good views within perhaps 50 yds.
