yesterday, a nice flock of black terns at jim hamm park (county line road between boulder and weld counties, on the boulder side), as well as expected regulars in beautiful breeding plumage. 3 ibis leaving walden ponds, boulder county. some 6-8 visible burrowing owls on mounds in weld county, south side of county line road 46 between 45 and 47 south of lower latham. stilts, cattle egrets, all 3 teals, stilt sandpipers (thanks to the greeley birder who pointed them out, sorry, name forgotten), 2 big fly-overs of ibis, too far to see faces. -elena klaver, jack collom, reed bye from boulder/niwot
