Boulder County:
--Dunning reported that the male SCARLET TANAGER has returned to Gregory
Canyon on May 28.  It was seen on the Gregory Canyon Trail in Boulder about
100 yards further uphill from pole #50.  On June 9, Romain reported that
the SCARLET TANAGER was west of pole #50.
--A White-winged Dove was reported by Sumner in the Gunbarrel area of
Boulder on June 1.  You might try looking for the bird in Gunbarrel Commons
Park which is west of 63rd St between Nottingham Gate and Gunbarrel Ave.
Pieplow reported the White-winged Dove in the Gunbarrel area on June 10.
--A singing KENTUCKY WARBLER was reported by Andes-Georges in the Gregory
Canyon parking lot on June 5.  Pieplow confirmed by sight and sound the
identification on June 6.  Waltman relocated the singing KENTUCKY WARBLER
in Greogry Canyon Parking lot on June 10.
--A singing male Chestnut-sided Warbler was reported by Waltman in Skunk
Canyon on June 7.
--A Green Heron was observed by the BBC First Sunday birders at Sawhill
Ponds on June 7.
--A singing Northern Parula was reported by Nunes in Cottonwood Trees behind
City of Boulder's Open Space office at 66 S. Cherryvale on June 10.

Delta County:
--3 Caspian Terns were reported by Horn at Hart's Basin by the ne pond on
June 8.

Denver County:
--Eastern Phoebes were reported by Thornton-Kolbe on June 5 near Florida
where it crosses the Platte River.  There is a golf driving range to the
north and the fence around it has a hole.  From the hole in the fence is a
dead tree where the Phoebes were observed.  They were first found by
Thornton-Kolbe on May 14.

Fremont County:
--Wild reported that the RED-THROATED LOON found by Rich Miller on May
19 at Brush Hollow Reservoir continues at least through June 8.

Kit Carson County:
--A singing male Rose-breasted Grosbeak was reported by Kaempfer in Flager
on June 7.

Larimer County:
--Leatherman reported that the DFO field trip to the Prospect Ponds Natural
Area on June 6 observed a Green Heron at the second pond south of Prospect
on the east side of Sharp Point Drive and a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak on
the east side of the
feedlot.
--A female Rose-beasted Grosbeak was banded at the YMCA banding station in
Estes Park on June 10.

Mesa County:
--An Indigo Bunting was reported by Beason along the Colorado River on June
9.  Beason also reported evidence of Black-throated Sparrows nesting along
the
river.

Montrose County:
--White-winged Doves were reported by Dexter in Nucla on June 7.
--At least 3 LESSER NIGHTHAWKS were reported by Dexter at Nucla sewer ponds
on June 7.

San Miguel County:
--Scott's Orioles and Black-throated Sparrows were reported by Dexter in
western San Miguel County on June 8.  The orioles were found in Little
Gypsum Valley and the sparrows in both Big Gypsum and Little Gypsum Valleys.
To access the area take CO 141 to CR 20R which is north of Gypsum Gap.  This
will be be Big Gypsum Valley.  Little Gypsum is about 15 miles further on CR
20R at CR 10Y.  Look for pinyon/juniper.  The best map for the area is
DeLorme p 64.

Washington County:
--A f Black-and-white Warbler was reported by Kellner at Last Chance on June
5.

Weld County:
--A 2nd year Summer Tanager was reported by Floyd at Crow Valley Campground
on June 6.

The DFO field trip for Saturday, June 13 will be to the Bailey Nesting Area
in Summit County led by Norm Lewis (303-988-5544).  Meet the leader at 0800
at the Wendy's parking lot in Silverthorne.  Plan on a full day with
moderate hiking; bring a pack with lunch, water and snacks, and dress for
altitude.  Register with leader so that the group doesn't leave without you.

The DFO field trip for Sunday, June 14 will be to the Lyons Area led by
Raymond Davis (303-823-5332).  Meet the leader at 0830 at the Lyons Park n'
Ride, 1/2 block south of the traffic light on the Main Street.  Bring lunch
to enjoy at Davis's deck.  Moderate amount of leisurely walking.  Call
Meredith at 303-280-8576 for carpooling from Denver Metro area.
