Hi all,

This morning I walked all of Rock Canyon, hoping to see the Northern Cardinal
from yesterday.  No such luck, I didn't see or hear it.  I did find a couple of
surprises, a Yellow-billed Cuckoo and a singing Least Flycatcher.  The cuckoo
was at the extreme east end of the Osprey Picnic Area, and the flycatcher was
in the middle part of the Osprey Picnic Area.  I hadn't seen a Yellow-billed
Cuckoo in Pueblo in quite a long time, so that was a nice surprise.  The Least
Flycatcher was also a surprise, since they aren't known to breed around Pueblo,
and I've never had one around here in the summer before.  Also, of interest, I
accidentally flushed a female Wild Turkey, with a bunch of babies.  The babies
were landing in the salt cedars.  I got some photos, kind of funny seeing them
in salt cedars.

Good birding,
