Hello, my name's Michelle and I'm new to the group. Spotted a Great Egret in Erie this week - not something I'm used to seeing in Colorado. I put some terrible pictures and directions on a web page: http://www.fly-by-night.net/egret.html this bird has been fishing with a friend at this spot for a few days in the evenings, so I'm hoping to get some better photos. If you're in the area, swing by for a possible sighting. The owner of the property has put a Great Blue Heron decoy near the water, and it often attracts other Great Blue Herons, but this is the first time I've seen a Great Egret here. Sure would be nice to have a real camera (Dear Santa...).
