Never been there before, camped out in cabin # 6 on southwest end. Work retreat so
casual birding only, BUT Orchard Oriole singing strongly, Eastern Kingbird on nest, both in cottonwood in Front of cabin # 7 on lake front. Also the usual suspects: both goldfinches, western Kingbird and wood-pewee, yellow warbler, cedar waxwing, bullock's oriole, ALL in that Cottonwood or its neighbor. Yellow-breasted Chat called all night up the hill. $7 entry fee...also pretty nice cabins with electricity.
