I was trail running on Vail mt. today and saw a Williamson's Sapsucker. The gorgeous male bird was in a spruce fir stand at 11000 ft. near the Two Elk lodge.I consulted Bob and Bob and this bird is rare at this altitude Justin Dee Vail Co.
