Hello everyone,

Yesterday evening (7/20/09) I heard the SCARLET TANAGER chip-burrring up in
Gregory Canyon. There was a female-plumaged LARK BUNTING on the fence line
leading to the City of Boulder's OSMP Cherryvale office this morning (7/21/09).
Blackbirds have started to congregate in groups away from breeding sites, a
phenomenon that I think may be caused by the extensive cutting of hayfields in
the region.

Great birding,

Christian Nunes
