Arapahoe County
--2 Green Herons were reported by Jim Nelson on the Highline Canal at Quincy
on July 16.

Boulder County:
--Dunning reported that the male SCARLET TANAGER has returned to Gregory
Canyon on May 28. It was seen on the Gregory Canyon Trail in Boulder about
100 yards further uphill from pole #50.  On July 20, Nunes heard the
tanager.
--A singing KENTUCKY WARBLER was reported by Andes-Georges in the Gregory
Canyon Parking Lot on June 5.  On the morning of June 26, De Fonso found the
KENTUCKY WARBLER near the parking lot and then up the Amphitheater Trail
accompanied by a Hooded Warbler.  Waltman reported that the KENTUCKY WARBLER
was seen and heard by a few birders on July 13.

Custer County:
--An imm dark morph REDDISH EGRET was found by Rich Miller at DeWeese
Reservoir on July 17.  Larson reported that the REDDISH EGRET was seen again
on July 19.  It is moving around the reservoir.

Denver County:
--A breeding plumaged Common Loon and imm RED-THROATED LOON were
reported by Tina Jones on Marston Reservoir on July 11.  On July 20, Wild
reported the RED-THROATED LOON and 4 Common Loons (1 breeding plumaged) at
Marston.  On July 21, Oberbeck refound the RED-THROATED LOON.

Fremont County:
--Eastern Phoebes were reported by Moss as carrying food in the area of the
old sewer tanks on the Canon City Riverwalk on July 16.  They are apparently
feeding a second brood.
--Eastern and Black Phoebes were reported by Moss at Pathfinder Park in
Florence on July 19.

Gunnison County:
--A Fox Sparrow was reported by Garrison at Horse Ranch Park on CR 12 on
July 15.
--A Slate-colored Fox Sparrow was reported by Cooper on Schofield Pass above
Crested Butte on July 19.
--A Fox Sparrow was reported by Sparks at Kebler Pass on July 18.

Huerfano County:
--An American Three-toed Woodpecker family was reported by Drummond near the
Bartlett trail head at the end of FR 369 (Greenhorn Mt Road) on July 18.

Larimer County:
--A LEAST BITTERN and Green Heron were reported by Komar at Cottonwood
Hollow Pond east of Fort Collins on July 20.  Mammoser relocated the LEAST
BITTERN at Cottonwood Hollow on July 22.
--On the Twin Lake trail north of Lost Lake, CR 103, Leatherman reported an
American Three-toed Woodpecker just below the dam at Lost Lake and another
American Three-toed Woodpecker north of Laramie lake along the trail on July
21.

Logan County:
--At Tamarack Ranch SWA north of CR 38.5, Leatherman reported a Northern
Cardinal along the Platte River north of the pond and an Indigo Bunting
north of the Pond on July 19.

Montezuma County:
--A White-winged Dove was reported by Garrison at 3rd & Chestnut in Cortez
on July 18.
--A Black Phoebe was reported by Garrison in McElmo Canyon and J Road at
a pond east of the bridge on July 18.
--Garrison reported a Black Phoebe 1/2 mile below McPhee Dam on the lower
Dolores River on July 18.

Rio Grande County:
--2 singing Dickcissels were reported by O'Brien near Monte Vista NWR in a
large alfalfa field along Rd 8S on July 18.
--While looking for the Dickcissels, Simmons found a GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW 
on
CR 8S on July 19.

Yuma County:
--2 Northern Cardinals and a pair of Indigo Buntings were reported by Ceci
Lee at Bonny Reservoir on July 19.  On July 20, Wild reported 1 Great
Crested Flycatcher, 1 Indigo Bunting and 4 Red-bellied Woodpeckers at Bonny
Reservoir.

The DFO Field Trip for Saturday, July 25 will be to Genesee Mountain Park
led by Karen Von Saltza (cell 303-941-4881).  Meet at 0700 at Stegosaurus
Park 'n Ride (SE corner) at I-70 and Morrison -- Red Rocks turnoff.  1/2 day
trip, lunch optional.

The DFO Field Trip for Sunday, July 26 will be to Pine/Cheesman Reservoir
Area led by Chris Blakeslee (303-694-4670).  Meet the leader at 0650 just
south of Conoco station at Dartmouth and S. Sheridan (across from old Bear
Valley Shopping center) or meet the group at 0730 at the Pine Junction
Country Store on the west side of Hwy 285 at the stoplight.  Bring lunch and
water.
