Cobirders :
Both an adult Common Loon ( breeding plumage ) and an adult
Red-throated Loon ( non -breeding plumage ) were observed this afternoon at
Marston
Lake by Jeannie Mitchell , Mary Ellen Moore and myself . The RTLO was
extremely active , preening , surf boarding etc , we could see no obvious signs
of oiling , physical damage etc . Has anyone seen this bird fly ??? Other
birds of note Semipalmated Plover and juv Franklin's Gull.
