Hi COBirders,

My wife and I did a quick road trip overnight to New Mexico, hoping
the bird would still be there. This morning, Monday, it still was.

From 830-930 am we watched it from the Central Recreation Area, but
from about 3/4 miles away. It was on the water, preening, the entire
time. We never saw it move from its spot, and it was the ONLY bird on
the water for as far as we could see!

Not much seen from shorebirds at Concha Lake or Las Vegas NWR, but
lots of Roadrunners!
