I spent nearly four hours this morning walking the area west of the Valco Ponds
parking lot in Pueblo.  It was very birdy, lots of migrants to look at.

Highlights: Tennessee Warbler, Red-eyed Vireo, adult male American Redstart,
Northern Waterthrush, Cassin's Vireo, Townsend's Warbler, Eastern Phoebe.

Other stuff:  Olive-sided and Willow Flycatchers, Western Wood-Pewee,
Red-breasted Nuthatch, Warbling Vireo, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, House and
Bewick's Wrens, Western Tanager, Virginia's, Wilson's, and Yellow Warblers,
Yellow-breasted Chat, Blue Grosbeak, among others.

Snakes:  One large Red Racer or Coachwhip.
