It was slow, hot sledding today north of Fort Collins. Chuck Lowrie and I
birded the Wyoming Hereford Ranch (WHR) first thing and then ended up at Crow
Valley in the afternoon. Not much happening either place.

At WHR we had a nice assortment of 52 species, but nothing I would call rare.
There were 2 Cassin's Vireos, a Stilt Sandpiper, 1 MacGillivray's Warbler, and
at least 3 Townsend's Warblers.

At Crow Valley our best bird was a BLUE-HEADED VIREO at the southwest corner of
the campground. We also had two Swainson's Thrushes, some Gray Catbirds, a
lingering Brown Thrasher, an adult female Red-naped Sapsucker, a Cordilleran
Flycatcher and two Hammond's Flycatchers.
