Hi Cobirders

Well it was bound to happen...we had a slow day here at Chico. The Tuesday
Birders had a few birds to look at and study but not nearly the variety or
number of the previous few days.

Bird Banded:
House Wren 1
Townsend's Solitaire 1
Hermit Thrush 1 (+1 recap)
Brown Thrasher 1
Orange-crowned Warbler 1
Yellow Warbler 1
MacGillivray's Warbler 1 recap
Wilson's Warbler 19 [several recaps, the skinny birds we caught on friday and
saturday had gained .5 to 1.2 grams of fat (8-15% of their body weight!). They
are ready to go when the conditions are right]
Western Tanager 2
Lincoln's Sparrow 1 recap

The Great Crested Flycatcher is still hanging around in stealth mode near the
HQ. Also seen by others today Red-headed Woodpecker Bell Grove and Olive-sided
Flycatcher Holmes Grove.

Good birding
