Today I found a Cassin's Kingbird, a Say's Phoebe and two Western Scrub-Jays in
an open grassy shrubland area along Middlefork Road in my neighborhood.
Unfortunately, they were on the extension of Middlefork Road that is a private
drive for the few residents that live on that dead end. Red-breasted Nuthatch
in the ponderosa pines closer to home.
