I just spend a windy and chilly morning around Lon Hagler Res. Very
little warbler activity, but I did have a nice list of birds:

Great Egret
2 GB Herons
Some Coot and Eared Grebes.
Several RB Gulls.
One other interesting gull that looked like a possible 1st winter
Franklins but flew of toward Lone Tree. Had a Boneparte's feel to it,
but much darker.
5 American White Pelicans
Black-capped Chickadee
Lincoln's Sparrow
Barn Swallows
Wilson's Warbler
Sharp-shinned Hawk
Robins
Flickers
Osprey
2 CASSIN'S KINGBIRDS
Western Meadowlarks
Mourning Doves
American Crows
Lesser Goldinches
Wood Duck

And then there was the lady riding her bike with a big Rhodesian--ish
brindle dog who got away from her and chased a deer and fawn. Can I
just say we had a little chat?!
