In the spirit of "Crane Watch," we just had a flock of about 70 Sandhill Cranes
fly over our house in central Colorado (the eastern slope of the northern end
of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains). They were at about ~18,000' and appeared
to be following the Sangres southeast, perhaps heading to Bosque del Apache,
NM.
