Hi all,

Somehow I must have missed Joe roller on highway 76.

On sunday, 10/11, when I hit the washington county area there was a major
influx of Raptors[it was cold and windy]. Today 10/14 the general area had
hardly any raptors[warm and hardly a breeze].

Here's the scoop :

LAST CHANCE : at intersection of highways 71 & 36, Washington cty.
1, Gray Catbird
1, Northern Flicker
1, m. and 1, f. Downy Woodpecker
1, immature HARRIS Sparrow
Dark-eyed Junco,= 2, 'Slate-colored', & 3,'Pink-sided'[variety of color combos]
2, ad. White-crowned Sparrow 'Gambelii ', 1 imm.
2, m. Common Yellowthroat
2, Orange-crowned Warbler
many American Robins

On highway 71 north of Last Chance, about 1 mile south of County rd. D was a
wet playa on the east side of 71. There were 2, Greater Yellowlegs, & 14
Long-billed Dowitchers.

I did not have alot of time so I went to Prewitt,[Washington cty] just to see
if there were any shorebirds left. I did not look at waterfowl or any other
birds, except for a few Gulls[nothing unusual in this department].

Along the west side of PREWITT Lake, along the flats and shore, I saw good
views of 4, different, Black-bellied Plovers, 1, Greater Yellowlegs, & many
Killdeer.

 Happy Birding!
