Out near Burlington again,

Yesterday (10/15) huge pulse of Sandhill Cranes, moving south ahead of
cold front, easily upwards of 3000 in 30 or so groups riding strong NW
winds aloft.

Today large pulses of Chestnut-collared, and Lapland Longspurs, Horned
Larks and at least four calling Sprague's Pipits, never saw them as
they called overhead, moving southward.

Also saw some newly arrived Roughies, kiting aloft where Swainson's
had been just a few weeks before.

Good birding,

Scott Severs
Longmont
